WEIGH-IN: Friday –Feb 1 - 8:00 a.m. – 10:00 a.m.
Weigh-in will be conducted by the referees and no
weight tolerance will be allowed.
Wrestlers will not be moved at weigh-in. No coaches or parents will be allowed in weigh-in room. There will be no other weigh-in. Each wrestler must sign weigh-in slip and
get stamped at weigh-in.
WRESTLE: Friday - 1st Session 12:00 noon. 2nd Session 6:00 p.m.
Saturday - 1st Session 9:00 a.m. 2nd Session 6:00 p.m.
AWARDS: 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 5th & 6th (NO CHALLENGES)
ENTRY DEADLINE: Tuesday, January 29, 2008 - (MUST BE RECEIVED BY 1:00 p.m.)
NO WRESTLERS WILL BE MOVED AFTER 1:00 P.M.
ENTRY FEE: $25.00 per contestant

Dear Coach:
The
2008 Allstate Junior High Wrestling Tournament will be held at the Fairgrounds
Sports Arena in Oklahoma City on February 1st and 2nd. The following guidelines will govern the
tournament:
1.
There will be a 6th
& 7th Grade Division and a Junior High Division for 7th,
8th & 9th
graders.
2.
Seventh graders must
elect which division to enter when entry forms are submitted.
3.
Wrestlers may enter at one weight only and in one
division only.
4.
Coach of the Year Award
will be decided by coaches this year. Only one(1) vote per team. Head coaches
will decide this award. Team points will not be kept this year.
5.
Outstanding Wrestler
Awards will be given in both divisions.
This is figured by the fastest three (3) falls of any champion. Only
champions in the Junior High division will count toward three-time awards.
6.
The official entry forms
are attached. Entry deadline is Tuesday,
January 29, 2008, at 1:00 p.m. Please do not ask for exceptions.
7.
You must print clearly or type
wrestlers’ names. If the name cannot be
read, the wrestler will not be entered. PLEASE
USE FIRST AND LAST NAME, NO INITIALS.
8.
All entries are $25.00,
and you may mail or fax your entry form.
No entries or changes will be
accepted by telephone, and all entries must be in hand no later than 1:00 p.m.
on January 29th.
9.
You must bring a copy of
your Fax entry form to the tournament in the event there is any discrepancy
with the entry.
10. The Seeding Meeting will be on Wednesday, January 30,
at 7:00 p.m. at Midwest City High School in the Forum. Refreshments will be
served, and all coaches are urged to attend.
11. You may drop an entry up to the seeding meeting at no
cost, BUT AFTER THE SEEDING MEETING,
ALL ENTRIES MUST BE PAID FOR REGARDLESS!!
